About the system

How does ECOBICI work?

It allows users who are registered to take a bicycle from any bike station and return it to the one closest to their destination in unlimited 45-minute rides. Those who want to access the ECOBICI System can pay a subscription for one year, one week, three days or one day.

Where do I sign up?

You can register from the website www.ecobici.cdmx.gob.mx or from the ECOBICI app. You can also register from the user service kiosks located in Camellón de Reforma in front of Reforma 222, Camellón de Reforma and Río Guadalquivir and Insurgentes Sur between Montecito and Philadelphia.

What are the service hours of the cycle station?

Hours of the public bicycle system is 05:00 to 00:30 the next day, you can anchor the bicycle 24 hours a day.

What are the hours and locations of the user service kiosks?

We can help you at any of the 3 user service centers:

  • Reform ridge in front of the Reform square 222
  • River Guadalquivir Reform ridge (One street from the Ángel)
  • Insurgentes Sur between Montecito and Philadelphia, in front of the Poliforum metrobus station
  • Attention from Monday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

How should I make a successful anchor?

To return the bicycle, once the user has finished their journey, they must go to the station and securely anchor the bicycle in the available anchorage port.

To secure the bike, the user must align the front triangle with the available port and push.

A sound signal will be emitted and the indicator light will turn green, which will indicate that the bicycle has been correctly secured to the anchor port, that is, the anchor was correct.

Can I invoice my payments?

To request an invoice for payments made to Ecobici, you must follow these steps:

  1. Enter your account, within the travel section, locate the item “Billing” and click on “Request invoice”.
  2. Enter the complementary and required information in accordance with current legislation.
  3. The invoice will arrive at the email registered in your account.

If you cannot request your invoice within your travel section, you must request it by any means of contacting ecobici user service.

We invite you to carry out this procedure from the moment of your payment or within the next 72 hours.

Payment methods

Any type of membership can be acquired through a credit or debit card (VISA or MASTERCARD) backed by a Banking Institution and valid for online purchases.

Can I pay in cash?

For users who do not have a card backed by a Banking Institution, they may subscribe to the service under the cash payment scheme, for which they must go in person to any of the customer service kiosks.

Why can't I unlock the bike with the Integrated Mobility card or with a QR code from the app?

If you are already a user and cannot release a bicycle, it could be for various reasons. Contact us by phone at 55-5005-2424 and/or 800 3262 421 or any of our service channels to support you.?

Can I lend the Integrated Mobility card or pass the QR code to release a bicycle to someone else?

No, you cannot lend your card, or lend bicycles to someone else. The use of your ECOBICI membership is personal and non-transferable.
